Basic VDS

Start your journey to become a pilot by learning the basics of flight: earn your basic VDS certification to fly solo, with 33 hours of theory and 16 hours of flight with an instructor.

Two-Seater

Continue your journey with the two-seater license, allowing you to fly with a passenger.

Radio

Our aeronautical radio course teaches you the procedures to communicate safely with pilots and air traffic control, essential for the advanced VDS and controlled airspace.

Advanced VDS

If you're already comfortable flying, earn your advanced VDS certification to fly without basic restrictions, land at controlled airports and navigate regulated airspace.

Basic VDS Course

The first step to becoming a pilot and flying solo

The Basic VDS course is divided into a theoretical and practical section, followed by exams at the end of the training period. The certification allows you to fly without a passenger.

The theoretical section includes approximately 33 hours of lessons covering fundamental subjects like aerodynamics, meteorology, and regulations. The theory exam consists of 70 multiple-choice questions covering all course topics.
The practical section involves a minimum of 16 hours of dual-command flight with a certified instructor. The training is designed to teach you how to safely pilot and manage all flight phases, from pre-flight checks to shutdown, covering stalls, slow flight, turns, emergency simulations, and navigation.

Two-Seater Flight Course

For flying with company

The two-seater VDS Pilot certification allows pilots to carry a passenger, further exploring crucial topics already covered in the Basic Course, such as navigation and flight techniques.

The practical section lasts a minimum of 3 hours, during which you'll gain essential skills to ensure your passengers' safety and comfort.

Aeronautical Radio Course

For effective and timely communications

To obtain the Advanced VDS Pilot certification, it's essential to have the Aeronautical Radiotelephony License. However, whether you're a pilot or an aspiring one, our course provides you with the training needed to make the most of the radio equipment, now present in most VDS aircraft. This will improve your safety and that of others during flight operations.
The course qualifies you in Aeronautical Radiotelephony in Italian and, if needed, in English.

The course includes:

Study materials
Theoretical lessons, with part of the course dedicated to practical exercises, simulating real operational scenarios

Advanced VDS Course

Fly free, without restrictions: the advanced VDS rating

One year after passing the two-seater exam, you can earn the Advanced VDS certification. The course takes you to a new level of competence and safety in flight.
The theoretical section covers:

Flight planning
Airspace and regulations
Using and interpreting charts
Meteorology
Managing flight in general aviation

The practical section involves putting your knowledge to use with flights within controlled airspaces, including operations at authorized airports.
The course includes:

Review and further study of theoretical concepts
5 flight missions involving airports and controlled airspaces.
